PTN Travel (“PTN”) is supportive and encourages its affiliated travel advisors to travel and experience the accommodations and destinations that they sell to better sell the destination, accommodations, and to better service their travel clients. Suppliers offer various discounted rates (“FAM rates”) to encourage travel advisors to visit, tour, and stay on their properties or to participate in their tours. These discounted rates are offered through PTN’s relationship and credentials with the suppliers. PTN also encourages travel advisors to attend industry events, including but not limited to workshops, luncheons, conferences, meet and greets, receptions, and in person supplier trainings (collectively “Industry Events”). On occasion, and based on availability, PTN offers opportunities to participate in advisor education familiarization trips, or suppliers offer hosted events or trips (collectively “FAM trips”) that advisors are invited to attend.
PTN has a reputation for being a high-quality luxury agency with high standards for our affiliated advisors. As such we intend on maintaining this reputation with our suppliers, trusted partners, and with the travel community as a whole. As an affiliated advisor with PTN, you are not only representing yourself, but PTN when you travel using our credentials or receive invitations due to your affiliation with PTN. Below you will find our Code of Conduct for travel on FAM trips and Industry Events and for FAM rate bookings.
By agreeing to book any FAM rate, attend and participate in any FAM trip or Industry Event, you are bound by the following code of conduct requirements.

9. Collaboration. Advisors shall collaborate with fellow advisors and hosts, offer support, ask appropriate questions at appropriate times, and build a network of professional relationships while attending FAM trips or Industry Events.
10. Non-Solicitation. Advisors shall not recruit others to join their business, join PTN, or to work for advisors in any capacity while enroute to or from, or while in attendance at a FAM trip or Industry Event. Likewise, advisors shall not solicit clients, passengers, participants, guests, or other travelers to become an advisor, or to book travel with you or PTN as a client while traveling on a FAM rate or attending a FAM trip or Industry Event. Other forms of solicitation that shall not be permitted include the use of clothing, bags, doors, props, or gifts advertising you, your agency, or PTN while on-site using a FAM rate or on-site, or in attendance for a FAM trip or Industry Event unless expressly authorized in writing by PTN and/or the supplier(s) or host(s).
11. Non-Disparagement. Advisors agree not to engage in any form of conduct or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that disparage or otherwise impair the reputation, goodwill, or commercial interests of PTN, the supplier, host, or another advisor.
12. Financial Responsibility. Advisors are fully responsible for all expenses incurred for travel on a FAM rate, on a FAM trip or in attending an Industry Event. PTN shall not be responsible for reimbursing or covering any costs or expenses unless expressly agreed to in advance and in writing, signed by an authorized PTN representative.
Advisor’s failure to comply with the PTN Code of Conduct may result in PTN barring Advisor from participating in any future FAM trips or Industry Events using PTN’s credentials. Conduct that seriously damages the reputation, goodwill, or credibility of PTN shall result in Advisor’s immediate termination.
I understand and agree to comply with the Code of Conduct terms set forth above.
